Mass. changed the laws last year allowing the sales but most of the municipalities are going to offload them in bulk.
Do a google search, I believe these have only been sold to individuals in Pittsfield, I know Worcester decided to sell them to a company that buys them in bulk as well as another small city. You could always contact the Tax Assessor/Collector in your town and inquire as to what they will be doing with them.
