TurboTax For Mac Question

TracyH profile photo

Does anyone know if TT Premier Home & Business for Mac includes Form 1065? No retailer seems to stock this, and I can't get a response from the Intuit website. Someone told me that it does a K-1 (1065), but not the 1065 itself, which doesn't really make any sense to me.

Thanks very much,

Tracy

Did you ever find out if TurboTax for the Mac does the 1065 return? Hope you found it does it. I have been patching up the Excel Tax Templates that I bought back in 1993 to do the 1065 and I am about to go nuts trying to make all the changes for the 2003 forms. So I was told by intuit that it did the 1065, but some other people told me it did not. I am like you, I don't know what to believe. Catch you later.

Try www.IRS.com to get the form. I could not get it either except there. They sent me a stupid card a month after I filed my forms asking if I wanted the forms sent to me.

    Good LUCK and Thank You
    Hope this helps some

I don't know about you guys who use Mac but I was told 15 years ago when I bought my first mac that i should pay accountant $200 $300 for the tax and not bother if I am to use Mac classy machine. I owe now my 5th Mac and never regret that advice.

Who else is using Mac on TCI?

The Mac version does not contain the 1065. Only TT Business (Windows- $99) has it.

I love Macs too, but the lack of software is still an issue.

Tombs up! Mac was the machine of the future in time when introduced and is currently the PC of the incoming times. Steve Jobs has finally learn the ropes. Pixar is the best example of that. G5? Should I mention that? I hope it is not necessary.

In the other end, as far as I am concerned Bill Gates may apply for Indian citizenship along with all those jobs that he already start exporting in anticipation that his company has reached maturity. As far as the accounting software, I cant be certain but you can certainly check latest releases made for latest OS X.x
On Apple site, there are literary TON of great new software written for the open source, Mac OS.

As far as the single IRS form, hmm that's probably an issue with the year make of that program (?). What I would do in your place, I would contact maker and ask them to email me the add on file. Upon installing that patch up, it should work just like charmgrin I do not know anything about do it yourself tax programs because I am not reach enough to pay more in taxes then I need to.

    Go mAc !
