Newly Formed LLC
I just formed a LLC, now I am applying for a business license so I can open up a business checking account in the name of the LLC. One of the questions is Sales Tax number. I dont have one for this business. Should a LLC have a Sales Tax Number. I have the EIN for this LLC. Now I have a sales tax number from another business that I have. Can I just put that number on the application?

Depending on the jurisdiction, a business license may not be needed in which case you can take the official LLC docs from the state to get a bank acct. in the LLCs name
