Certificate Of No Tax Due

I need to find out how to acuire one, on my decesed fathers estate, I've been asked to provide one or a "reciept for payment of tax due", in order to recieve an inheritance that is 20 years over due. My Father died intestate, and we are not able to find the wife, or even know if she is even still alive. So I've filled out a "right of heirship" form, sent to me by the managers of the property. But I can find nothing anywhere , so far, on the net :-( .
Is there someone here that has knowlege in the area?

When I applied for my automobile license plate, I had to have a form from the county treasurer showing that my property taxes were paid in full.

Perhaps this is what is also required of you. The county treasurer's office might be able to help you out.
