When Using A Flatfee MLS Service How Much You Offer Buyer's Agent?

quinn profile photo

I may have to list my property on the flatfee MLS listing I want to offer a commission percentage that will make a buyer's agent want to bring their clients to my house and get them to buy it. However, I don't want to pay too much. Those of you who have used a flatfee service, how much percentage did you offer and how successful and how quickly were you at selling the property?

I used the $89 a month flat fee MLS, so I just paid the $89.00 and then 3 days later I had a contract and gave the buyers agent 3%. Most agents here get listings at 6-7% so 3% is standard in Florida. I could have offered less, but then would have possibly had some realtors refusing to show.

    Good Luck!
