Selling To Spouse
Is it legal to sell a rental property to a spouse . Property is owned free and clear by wife. She is only one on the deed. Would like to get a loan or HELOC on the property, but since it was just purchased, most places won't give FMV ( or anywhere near) and want to go off purchase price. Bought from FNMA (fannie mae) at cheap price about 25,000 under value. Any help would be great!!
