I think this question comes up every week in the forums..and it always gets the same answer. If you rummage through the forums postings you would become alot more educated on this topic and alot quicker than waiting for those repeated answers to come back to you..
But to answer it anyway, Pre foreclosures is what youre asking for...your local county clerks office has those listed as LIS PENDENS filed by the mortgage companies usually that are foreclosing on the property..depending on your state, this can take months and months..so you want to contact those people before the foreclosure process is too deep and get them to sell to you..
Sometimes there are services you can sign up for that place people at the courthouse to get this info easier. I use one in our area
