    NTR?
    What's that acronym mean?

    Possibly "Not The Realtor" (LOL)

NTR - to me, means "Notice To Release"

We Use a Power Of Attorney because that allows us to make property based decisions, and discuss legal matters with the vendors, (lenders, Insurance Co., Utilities Etc.) If you want to get specific with the lender regarding the loan balance, payoff amount etc. we use an "Authorization To Release" form that specifically authorizes the lender to speak with us directly. Both forms may be helpful if you need to negotiate a forbearance agreement or something else.
I believe that the form you are using "Notice To Release", and the "Authorization To Release" form we use is likely a similar document. I would recommend getting the POA as well.
    Good luck,
    Jeff
