When working on the HUD-1 form, do you just work backwards to determine the purchase price? Example, add together the loan payoffs and other settlement fees then make that your purchase price? Thanks.

    That is one way to do it. You might want to contact a local title co. and ask to speak with a closer. They will be able to give you the variuos ways of arriving at the numbers you need.
