Title Search Before Closing?
My first short sale, so forgive my ignorance. Waiting for the bank to release information to me in order to make an offer. In the mean time should I just pony up the $100 to get the title search done..or should I wait and have the buyer pay for it at settlement?? That way I can have the agreement state that I will recop that fee at closing?? Is this feasable, or do you need more info in order to answer??

wow, I guess this was such a silly question, nobody wants to respond??
I would wait till i got the information from the bank. You may find out the property is not worth what they owe. Just my opinion.
