Title Insurance
I have been investing for quite a while and just had a recent deal where I was selling my primary residence, the title was clouded from several old owners of this property. The property was sold but they kept all of my equity in escrow, one it was not listed on the HUD-1 which I think is illegal and two the money that is being held was not put into an interest bearing acount which is crazy and three, What did I pay title insurance for if they are not going to give me clear title.
All good questions. Do you have a lawyer yet if not get one and run it by him/her.
I have to many attorneys, thats a whole other problem. They dont want to sue eachother and they charge so much money that it would not be financially worth it to sue. I will get my money but it has been a month thus far. I got the check is in the mail line from the attorney last week. If I owed those bastards 5 bucks they would have me in collections. When I call they act like I am wrong for calling about thousands of dollars.
