The Truth About Short-sales

chilln2music profile photo

This is one area of real estate I have not tapped into. I have heard from several people that the effort that goes into a short sale usually ends in a dead end and is not worth the time invested. I have also heard from others they have been able to make a great living doing short sales.

Can anyone give their personal experience with short sales? Success? Failure?

Also, what are some of the better courses out there to learn about this niche?

Thanks everyone in advance!

    Ok Panic,

maybe i was being sarcastic. Anyone that believes something from that are not active is right for the simple fact they believe a non performer.

Not all short sales are good deals. The only reos are the one investors passed up in the pre stages.

Most reos that sit awhile have been picked over like a week old orange.

The astute investors pick up the best deals before they go back to the bank.

Lenders are thinking long term. A $10,000 or $20,0000 debt can be amortised over 10 or 20 years.... like a credit card payment.
