SS And OCWEN, Please Help?

ksmntci profile photo

I have a lead that has 1st and 2nd. The 1st is about 87k and with Ocwen. I was able to get the payoff amount and when I asked for SS package the guy gave me 3 people's numbers in Bankruptcy dept who deal with SS, I suppose. The house is not in FC yet. I have been calling the 3 numbers and left multiple messages since yesterday, but they are NOT returning my calls nor answering the phone.
Is there anything I can do to get in touch with one of them???

Thanks in advance

Ocwen's HQ is in FL, either Orlando or Ft Lauderdale as I recall, and if you'll find it and call their REO/Loss Mitigation Dept you can learn what agent in your area handles O's REO business there.

Also they have a sizeable web site so that can give you some info.

The Big O is very structured, rigid and stupid as any other big bank in having to do everything by " the book", so you're going to have to do it all their way.

I speak from personal experience as I inherited O as a partner when a JV partner of mine went under and and O foreclosed on her 1/2.

If I thought I had a lousy partner before O got it, they were twice as bad...and I sure was glad to finally get the property sold and be rid of the Big O.

try sending an email: if you have the correct name of someone in that area, say John Smith -- then send a mail to:

    **Please See My Profile**

at least you have an electronic trail.....

I recommend using the fax in order to document your communication. It seems to get better response. They are usually busy and messages get lost or forgotten.
