Short Sale With Family Involved
I am attempting to negotiate a short sale for one of my cousins. We have the same last name and when it comes up in conversations with lenders, I say he is not in my immediate family. Could this present a problem at any time in the process?

It shouldn't. Unless you share the same address, or are on the deed or mortgage.... it's a non-issue.
