How long is an appropriate timeframe to wait to call them to check on the status?
In anyone's experience, do you think they'll SS a property 6 mos behind or over a year behind first?
All SS applications and accompanying Proposals should be sent via special delivery with tracking, and required recipient's signature.
I would call about a week after they've received your Proposal, asking if they've received it (knowing that they had) and if they have any immediate questions.
At this time, try to learn when they will present your Proposal to the 'board' or body of decision makers.
Usually, the more at risk their position, the more willing they are to consider non foreclosure alternatives.
