I Learn Something New Everyday

I would have to say before the month of february there were two ways (that I knew of) to make money in real estate.
Buy it-fix it-sell-it or buy and rent it.

I was going skiing in colorado and I picked up a book, and it introduced me to "wholesaling" I thought it was the greatest thing I have ever heard of...until now.
I've been on this site a few weeks now, and I've seen this forum, but I never gave it a thought, I was so interested in wholesaling "the Scott Rister way"(I still am and I am hoping to be successful with it) But today I got a phone call from another investor and we were chatting and he explained to me (in a nut shell) what a short sale was.

This is definately something I am interested in. It's just amazing how easy I over looked it though.

I have a lot of questions already, but I'll look around the forum first, but count on seeing me a lot in this forum.

JB,It is good to know that you are opening your mind to other areas of creative REI. There are so many areas in which to profit in REI. Wholesaling, short sales,subject-to,lease/option and many more.
