Foreclosure Report Info
I have a foreclosure report for homes to be sold at the courthouse in three weeks. Is this enough time to try a short sale?
Should I try to contact the owner or the contact person listed for the attorney?

I tried to do the same thing in FL and I was not successful. The bank works very slow with this process.
The lead time for a complete short sale application/proposal/negotiation is from 45 days to 90 days, or more.
Though some smaller institutions that service their own mortgages might be able to render a decision within a day or so, the larger, more complex, multi-layered organizations move more methodically.
