Does A SS Have To Be Listed With A R/E Agent?
What if I have a cash buyer p/s contract and get short sale expert- NOT an agent to do the short sale, does it get processed? Or must i have to use a R/E agent for this?

loon, i am the owner here. put a sign on prop and got a cash offer from another investor. its a huge haircut to what i owe but no one else is buying as is a teardown condition. am thinking of hiring SS company to act as third party. but been told prop has to be listed with agent for bank to take offer seriously.
I am a third party short sale negotiator. You do not need the property to be listed, no matter what the banks tell you. We do it all the time.
