Curing A Mortgage - Is It Normal?

When performing a short sale deal, is it normal to have to cure the mortgage first? Or does it normally depend on the lender?

    No. That's just silly. If their collection reps sense that there might be some hope of curing the default while it's on their watch.... they can ask for anything.
