CountryWide And Not Having Mitigators

ryand profile photo

Hi, I have not delt with countrywide for a long time until now. I submitted a shorsale with them and they tell me it goes to a workout dept first then to loss mit. I sent it 3 days ago and they tell me it hasnt been assigned to a mitigator yet. Usually they are assigned to a mitigator as soon as they are in default. The Sale is may 12th and they tell em its going to be 2 weeks before it gets assigned to a mitigator. I told them about the sale and they said there is nothing they can do. i have to call back later on. By the time i call back the house will be foreclosed. Isnt it these peoples jobs to deal with these issues? Anyone else have this problem?

thanks

I heard a rumor about Countrywide this morning (from a LM at a different bank) - anyhow, he said that C-wide was working on revamping their policy and will not ss their 2nds anymore, only selling the note. anybody hear anything like that?
