Country Wide Short Sale

ryand profile photo

Hi, I am about to submit a short-sale to Country Wide. I know many of you have done shorts with this company. In your experience, have you found them to be difficult? Do you find that they need everything they ask for? They faxed me a 14 page packet of everything i need and they need things such as a past listing agreement, w2, etc, etc. How quick are they to accept a short? Is it a process that takes a commity to decide or is a one man decision?
Thanks a lot,
Ryan

What hard money lenders out there cover Ohio?

RB Ohio, try going to your local RE Investor meetings usually lots of hard money lenders go there, because thats were the deals are. also the big fish who can become your private money lenders go there.

i think one thing when i think of hard money. "its hard" from my experience people arent just willing to dish out money to investors who havent done deals with them before, unless your willing to pay 5 points and 15% interest and personally guarantee the loan. so unless its absolutly necessary dont use them. im still looking to solve the hard money issue or find someone with a large bank account whos willing to lend but thats usually not the case.

i have had deals were i shorted the loan down to 50% L.T.V. and the house didnt need repairs, and i couldnt get a decent loan or person willing to jump in. good thing we sold it.
