Calling Loss Mitigation?

kleach profile photo

Seems like when I call a number and extension for loss mitigation I always get sent to voice mail. Is there any special message I should be leaving to get them to call me back? I know "bankruptcy" is a useful word. What are some of you guys who short sale often saying when you have to leave a voicemail? This is really frustrating to have a decent deal but not be able to get a simple call returned. Thanks in advance for any help.

A Loss Mitigator aka Walter Mitty, is not doing his job if he is not responding to the telephone calls of those who wish to correct those situations for which he is hired to oversee.

Words to use. The Big BK. that usualy draws a reaction. My Client the Borrower on loan bla blah has just called. I thought we should discuss the matter blah blah. Hi I'm Mr. Blah the Contractor, Before replacing the main sewer line I thought I would ask you if you are doing the new financing. blah blah. And the beat goes on.

Of course if you know the names of any of the Lending Banks Officers, they are good to throw in. Or if you have CD's in the bank you can throw that weight around very good in small banks.

Insurance Claim Officers are always good to use to get their attention. They get very nervous about fires and things.

    Go for it. Lucius
