Any Short Sale Success On Property With Equity Or Good Condition?
Was hoping to hear from investors who have been able to get a lender to discount/short sale on properties with equity or that were in good condition. I personally always ask for a discount as all they can say is no. Im hoping more lenders will discount at least the amount they would pay on realtors and state excise tax. In my area the going realtor rate is 6% and excise tax is 1.78% so on a $175k priced home the lender would face $13,615 in costs. If I could get even that amount discounted on properties it makes for so reasonable profits. Hope to hear from investors experiences on this topic. P.S. Im trying to work on one with Wells Fargo right now to discount realtor and excise tax amount they would have to pay. Thanks in advance to all replies.
