Questions About CCIM

Hi: I would appreciate some clarification on what a Commercial Investment Member is. I understand that it is a designation that you can earn once you are a realtor that allows you to list commercial properties. Is it the same as being a commercial broker or are they different? I am so sorry if this is a stupid question, but you never know until you ask. Thanks guys, Results

Realtor is a trade group for licensed real estate agents. All agents are not Realtors since you have to join and pay dues to the National Association of Realtors, as well as the local chapter/board.

To be CCIM you do have to be licensed.[ Edited by woodsong on Date 10/11/2005 ]

Many banks/lending institutions are now sending their people for the classes, upwards of 20% in any given class.
