Working With Investors
My husband and I are getting ready to buy our first home to rehab. We have friwnds who will be helping us with the financing, essentially the will be investing in half of the cost. My husband will be doing all of the work to rehab the home (he is a home improvement contractor). We are trying to work out an agreement for how to split the proceeds between us and the investors when we are able to sell the house. What is a fair percentage if they are only involved financially?
will your role be strictly repairs, or will you be funding half the project also?
