William Nickerson's Book !
Does anyone know where i can find William Nickerson's book, " How I turned $1,000 into $5,000,000 in realestate in my spare time ", for a reasonable price. I have searched several websites and some want $200.00 for the book. That's crazy !!!
From what i hear it is the grandaddy of all realestate books and a must read.
Anybody read it !

Is this a good book, would the REI guru's recommend this one?
I own a copy and it is a good book. I think my edition may even be earlier, because mine is either $1,000,000 or $3,000,000 (not $5,000,000). What makes it good is that it narrates the entire story of acquiring and managing properties, not just creative acquisition. I hope you can find a copy at a reasonable price.

i just checked your link and the book sold for $148.50, i guess when a popular book becomes rare the price goes up. i saw a copy at one of the used book websites for a staggering $1,200. Outrageous
I wish i could find a library that carried the book.
i read the book. its good, but not worth $200.
save your money for an anniversary gift!
I would try the local library first, I read this book when I was 16 (I am now 41) and it was a motivator at that time and probably plays into some of my philosophy today.
