Warped Wood Flooring

Is there a way to fix this without ripping up the floor and putting a new one down?

That would be the proper way to fix it. Rip out the warped pieces and replace them.

That is what I meant. I didn't want to replace the whole floor just those pieces. thanks

Rip out and replace is the best way to approach it.

You can replace pieces of a hardwood floor instead of ripping out the entire floor.

Usually I would use a circular saw, making long parallel cuts along the length of the board to remove (about 1/8 inch apart), staying away from the edges.

Then chisel out the pieces and pry out the edges you didn't cut, being careful not to ruin the tongue and groove edges of the pieces butting up to the repair.

If you are luckiy you can get a replacement piece that is as thick and as wide and made from the same wood. If not you have to do some woodworking to it to get it to fit.

Cut off the bottom edge of the groove of the replacement board and stick the board in tongue first.

Of course to make this really nice you have to refinish the entire floor or it won't match.

Sometimes jobs like this might be cheaper in the long run to hire a flooring pro to do it for you.

thanks for all the info, Rehabinator. I don't think I'll need a professional because I don't care how it looks it is under tiles

If it is under tile then strip cut it like the rehabinator said and put any type of wood or mortar un the hole.
