Using Online Listings To Find Forclosure Deals???

bigbtheking profile photo

Does anyone use the online forclosure listings to find potential rehabs. Needless to say it wouldn't take a big rehab to cover the small cost of the listing.
Just wondering if they are worth the time and cost???

Thanks

Bobby

    Dear Bobby,

For the State of California I use www.Retran.net about $100 a month but it gives you everything and about the second day after the filing of a Notice of Default. You can run fast or slow or pick your times after the recordation.

In your area I really do not know. Most of the large national companies are not at function and to me are merely scams. They cannot deliver what you need which is a steady flow of NOD's.

I suggest that the time has come to dedicate a few days of time in an exploration of your Hall of Records or Court System depending which type you have. Judicial or Non Judicial. I think what you are looking for is the slightly neglected properties in fair to medium or better areas.

I am sorry to say but here in the United States there is a breed of person which I can only describe as a Court House Hanger On. Just what they do I cannot say, but they know the filings, they know how to abstract and thats your source. He she or It will supply you with a constant source of Abstracts on Foreclosures.

I can do it and so can you. Its is just that I have a really wonderful source in RETRAN. Net. More then I could ever handle.

    Cheers Lucius
