To Re-texture Or Not To Re-texture, That Is The Q....
My project has a mix of surfaces: some new drywall, some old (with semi-gloss paint over texture that looks as if it was created by repeatedly placing and pulling off a concrete float on wet mudd.
Should I simply retexture everything, and if so, what prep would be required, and what texture pattern do you gurus recommend. Thanks.
Do the texture that you are the most comfortable doing. Knock down is usually the easiest and most acceptable.
