Title Policy Insurance?
Hi,
Closing on a house in Texas in a few days. Since I am paying cash its not mandatory that I purchase title policy insurance. In Texas the price is regulated so on this house $127,000 it will end up costing up $1020.
We are planning on rehabbing and selling this house within about 90-150 days. Are we crazy to consider not purchasing this? Or does it just make since to save the money and go forward without it? What are the risks of not purchasing it and what do you all advise?
