Title Insurance
I am new to rehabbing and have a question about title insurance. I have a deal scheduled to close soon. I asked for title coverage for the ARV. But am having trouble getting this done. The company I am working with is insisting on my purchase price being as face value of title insurance with an endoresement later. I have to submit paperwork (an appraisalor copy of tax card) showing property is now worth X. And they must do a mechanics lein search after work is completed. Does this sound right to you?
