    Hi Eric,

I agree.. What stratigy are you leaning to in this market? How do you feel about finding distressed owners taking ownership refiing and renting to hold?

Was it the light or the refreshments?

I would take the "fifth" on that, but sad to say there were no refreshments...

    Good point, Chris,
Natural lighting is pretty important in the visuals of homes-especially kitchens.
Sorry refreshments were not served at your late nite gig. :]

    Chris,
a late night "shellacing" should be reserved for liquid refreshments. It never pays to work tired or in the dark. Like yourself, I have "finished" in the dark only to find that I should have stopped in the light. It never turns out the way you expect. Few things should be finished after the sun goes down, Margaritas anyone?

I would suggest hiring a crew to do that for you so that you can find your next project and speed up your turn around time.

I now spray cabinets like that and use a laquer when possible for sheen and fast dry time.

When I was doing the work myself I was doing one or only two at a time and had lag time between prodects.

Now I have as many as 8 going at a time and all my time is spent finding and overseeing.

It is nice to clear 100K a month!

    Stockpro-

Thought about your advice for a while, then hired a couple of guys to help me out. Now things are going- well- at least twice as fast...

    Chris,
you have the worst luck with help. or so it would seem. oh well, I guess it is back to the DIY time, that really sucks sometimes. Maybe we could clone ourselves.

at least we would know the job was done.
