Sewer Problems

tsunupe profile photo

I am having a real problem with a toilet (stopped up). I removed the toilet and used a " snake"...no luck. I then used a large drain king and a small drain king.
Well,...the line is still stopped up? Are there any suggestions? Is there something I can pour down the drain to clear the problem?
(Cement Floor)
Thanks for you help.

A drain king is that device you hook up to a water hose.
It gets big and I guess pushes pressure down the line.
The problem is between the house and the line right outside the bathroom. I would guess the length is about 6 feet. I tried the snake but it would not make the turn under the bathroom floor. Heck.........I am having trouble. Thanks for the previous advice and questions.

Is there not a full-sized cleanout plug for the drain system?
It may be in a wall or outside.
Usually a cleanout will give you better access for snakes and augurs without going through the closet bend under the toilet.
