Rehab Property Full Of....

sickdog profile photo

I found an REO that I think I can "steal" from the bank. It has been listed for over 100 days and is a mess! This would be my first deal.
The question I have is concerning all the junk left behind by the previous owners, including a huge shed full of cat parts and tools and junk, and an old car on blocks. Can I just have all this stuff hauled off or do I have some legal action I need to take before hand? Obviously the junk isn't as much of a concern as the car is. I don't want the previous owner coming after me for his car back! How do you all handle abondened vehicles?
Thanks

In MN, it is the responsibility of the bank to store all personal belongings. So, in other words, once you buy the property, you can throw everything away

Throw everything away, or have a weekend of, "everything you can hold for 25 dollar sale. good way to get rid of it, and make some money.

Thanks guys precinate it! Fortunately, the guy across the street from my 2 family is a junk guy(for lack of better words!). He would most likely dismantle the metal garage and haul everything away for free, just to cash in on the scap metal.
    Thanks again!
