Can a developer of a new housing tract limit or restrict selling new SFR to Investors and only allow Owner Occupied buyers? rolleyes

    Yes as long as you follow the rules and guidelines set in your state and follow the fair housing act.

    Not sure why you would not want to sell to other investors, but if you are selling at retail most investors would not want it anyway.

    Thanks for your response. Just for clarity, I am a newbie Investor and was considering looking at buying a new SFR in a new housing development and I was told that some developers won’t sell to Investors but only sell to Owner Occupied buyers only. I was wondering could they do that.
