Neat Cover The Access
Hi all
I have to cut a 2x 2 ft access hole to get to the bath tub water pipe. the cut will be in the living room 5 in. above ground floor.
The problem is the living room, so I need to cover it nice and neat. Is there any way for me to buy to make it neat?
Frame it out and have an access panel door...
Frame the surround with trim that matches the rest of the room... Paint it/stain it the same color as the trim is painted elsewhere in that same room!!

I agree with Matty, get it to blend in with the rest of the room.

I understand what you are saying now. I took her post to mean she really needed a permanent access. If this is a one time repair I see why you said that.
I thank for all your suggestions, now I have two options,
the termite man wants an access to get to the plumbing area, suggestion about 2x2 but 1x1 ft is OK for him to shine the flash light and do his job. After the job, probably just patch up work as the suggestion. Again many thanks.
