Kitchen Exhaust Fan
I am redoing a kitchen that has an exhaust fan mounted on the wall above where the range would sit. Its silver and rusty and almost looks like a bathroom exhaust fan mounted on a wall. Its corded, and the cord plugs in a couple feet down the wall. What I want to put there is a normal range hood with fan and light. My problem is that pulling this thing out will leave a hole both inside and outside. And I also dont have electric at the fan because it plugs in a few feet away. I could try and find a new fan with a plug in thats the same and put that in, but then I would not have a light above the range. Does anyone have any ideas how to make this work and not look tacky?
