How Much $ For Re-roof?
Anyone have a rough estimate of the labor and materials cost of removing wood shake shingles and replacing with asphalt or composite? House is a 30 year old 3,500 sq ft two story with 3 car attached garage in a Chicago south suburb. Thanks.
Depending on what type of shingles used, how many valleys in the roof, repairs to the roof.
But we will try general estimates: Low end shingles(3 tab standard shingles like on many homes) with tear off would be appprox. $6500. High end shingles apporx. $9500.
more than likely the roof has to be sheeted too because it had shake shingles...
If you meet the right people and look hard enough; $4500 tops for material and labor.
