Hardwoods and aluminum siding

Have a house that has dog/cat urine throughout on the wood floors. Additionally, the old owner was a very heavy smoker. My thought was to
1. use OdorX (I've never used before) on the floors and then put new carpet in.

2. Paint the walls to get that "new" look.

3. Use a power washer on the white aluminum siding with some sort of cleaning solution designed for aluminum siding (saw some pink solution at HD that supposedly was for this application).

Would you folks suggest replacing the wood trim on the floor? Is this much of an expense when replacing old carpet?

Any thoughts/suggestions on my plan of action would be welcomed.

The first house I every bought in my life had dog urine soaked wood floors. I used a primer/sealer, like Kilz, on the floor to close up the wood. The I placed my carpeting over it. With sealing the wood floors I had taken out the odor. In my case the wood floors were shot totally and refinishing could never take place. If you wanted wood floors in that house you have to rip them out completely and replace.
