Granite Countrtops(again)
I had to redo this post because they deleted my last one so i couldnt read any replies. I am looking for a company that sells granite by the slab. I do not need it to be fabricted or installed i will pick it up myself. I am in the md/dc/va area also i do not buy granite by the Sq ft . I use to buy it in New York(when i lived there) standard countertop width but in 5 ft slabs for a set price if anyone has any info on this please reply thanks.
there should be a number of people that supplythe finishers and installers. THey sell by the slab and it runs 8-18$ a foot class 1-2.

SF, it is all by the SF. I cruise the local suppliers and find that is pretty common in thosse two classes which is normally good enough for anything under 400K in our market..

I usallay buy by linear foot in NY but that must not exist down here in MD i am thinking about getting a truckfull 30-50 5 ft slabs standard counter size width and sell it out of my garage for $850 for a 5 ft slab and backsplash. What do people usally pay for a slab down here i have been getting some crazy obscene prices ($2990- $3500) for 10 feet. Just a thought
