I have a friend who is looking into buying a 17 unit motel in bad shape and is thinking about condo conversions for 2/2. This property is located in az and has a price tag of $289,000 been on the mkt for 3 years. What are the pitfalls and procedures for such a venture and how would you finance it to include purchase price and improvements? Thanks in advance.
