Begginer Question
Hey I am just starting out trying to wholesale properties. The problem that I have is that I don't know how to estimate the repair cost of a project. What do I look for? I have a sheet that gives me the estimate cost for certain things that a house needs. I just need to know what I need to look for when I decide the estimation of the repair cost. Thanks in advance.
A good start can be to go to a site and download a sample of an inspection report that a good qualified home inspector will use when doing his job. This will cover many of the areas you need to be concerned with and then after that you need to find a qualified contractor or someone who is knowledgable to ascertain the scope of the repairs. Travel with them a few times to your properties and "pick their brains", until you feel comfortable enough to go "solo".
