Question- I just added a new bathroom to the house. Now I need to put the bathroom on the CO (certificate of occupancy). How do I go about doing/obtaining this? Thanks in advance....
Granite is big here in Utah. I however saw a set of concrete counters in a homeshow in Salt Lake last month and was duly impressed with how nice they look.
I have been trying to get in touch with the guy that had the booth since then.
I do know that there is a book put out by craftsman books that tells you how to make them etc.

A title search will probably tell you who really owns it and maybe why it is apparently abandoned. Usually a good skip-trace firm will find the owners, or heirs, so you can get the story from them, which will give you a starting point.
Is it worth investing $500 to $600 of your own money to find the answers?

Thank you Bargain 76 and Billingsseattle for your reply. I am still thinking of exit strategies if I was to find that the title is marketable and the owners/heirs would sell it to me. If I was to aquire the property, would selling the lot or actually building on it would be the best course of action? Or, should I try to assign the contract to someone who has more knowledge/better funding resources?

The only think i would worry about is settlement cracks. Are cracks easly repaired?
