Asbestos Siding

How do you properly dispose of asbestos shingles? I’m dealing with a property that was built in 1965. Its a tri-level home.

Should I purchase a house like this or is that a small fix.

You must get an EPA approved company to remove asbestos. Best thing to do is cover it with vinyl siding or replace missing shingles with the concrete look-a-like asbestos shingle.

Okay, I thought about the same thing of just covering it with the vinyl siding. It will only make the house more appealing.

    Thanks a lot!

I have a property with asbestos siding also. My plan is to wait for a tornado to remove and dispose of it.

    Fingers crossed...

Code requires that you have an unobstructed working access of 36 inches wide and 30 inches deep.

    NEC 110.26

this is probably a subpanel, many older homes have them, just get an electrician to move the panel and continue.
