Intellectual Property
Does anyone here know anything about how to register and protect intellectual property such as a teaching manual or financial program? I'm wondering what steps have to be taken to do this as I have created a budget/finances program that I would like to sell. I want to protect it before I do so. Thanks for any info.
You need to register a copyright on the material. Go to the US Copyright Office at:
http://www.copyright.gov
Thats good advice, also mail a copy of whatever it is to yourself, for public records.
