Crimes Against Nature?

Curiosity has the better of me. I have a prospective tenant whose criminal background check reveals "crimes against nature". What exactly is a crime against nature?? (without getting too graphic). Is it a "fondness" for animals?

The law in North Carolina is broad but typically had to do
with beastiality as well as homosexual acts or "self abuse".

At one time it was easy to charge these cases.
In my law enforcement days we used it mostly dealing with the above noted acts in "public" places.

Today most prosecutors will have the person plead to "Indecent exposure" or other statutes that are similiar.

    It is considered a felony.

You can go to the listed site to find out more about this statute.

    http://www.ncgala.org/guide/guidecan.htm

Either way..........I would not want to rent or live next to one that is charged with such crimes.

On my website I provide a link in which a person can do a search to find out if there are registered sex offenders living in their neighborhood. Childsafe network (free) offers such a site ................it is a good site to visit for concerned citizens , parents, buyers, renters etc.

Laws vary from state to state about such listing but here in NC it is legal. I personally think everyone has a right to know about deviants (proper adjective used) living near children.

Dear Bluebird, sounds like a big project, maybe you should sell it "as is" and maybe some rehabber would love to get ahold of it.

    Bluebird,
You may have a serious problem. a means of egress of the wrong size may attract undesireable tenants. ie, a catbird or the like. prehaps even those pesky sparrows. You may wish to contact a specalist , Carl carpenter Ant is ok or the demolition specialist Tom Termite.

okay i def. will. If i send 2k will you clear coat it for me? i kinda want it to look original because i know the floors are in rough shape. i would like them to be brought back though.

also if you could put some double hung windows in that would be great. p.s. the heating system needs major work.

    any help would be wonderful,
    thanks,
    Bluebird

you are on the ball. i was wondering how i was going to fund it. do you think you would be interested?

also, i have pulled comps and they show that its right up there with the other birdhouses.

i also pulled the deed and i have a couple of liens on their from a couple of chipmunks

Before you consider the multi-level solution, I would check the zoning. It differs between the front and back yards. Also, if it is a hanging house, you may need to relocate to a larger branch.

hey thanks again for the info i appriciate that. yes i will def. find another branch. i will look into the zoning. i know if i make it a multi level the taxes will go up but it doesnt bother me. i went ot the townhall and pulled an aircard and found out it was only .2 square feet so this will really be a really big addition
