Bush Was Right....
Bush and Blair were RIGHT in their dealings with Iraq. In fact, Bush has been right all along.
1. FACT: It doesn't matter whether the WMDs were found or not. It was incumbent upon Saddam Hussein to dispose of them and to SHOW the world that he. He refused! Democrats give Saddam a pass on this. Any guesses why?
2. FACT: Even Hans Blix outlined to the UN, just weeks before the US invasion started, the history of Saddam's refusal to comply, and Blix noted the dangers that Iraq still posed to the world with their chemical, biological, and nuclear potentialities and unaccounted stock piles from the Kuwait invasion.. [See this report at the UN site on the internet].
3. FACT: After his vote in favor of US action on Iraq, John Kerry made the same case that G.W. Bush did on why we MUST DEAL with S. Hussein. (Available on the internet).
4. FACT: It took 10 months for the attack on Iraq to begin. Saddam had ample time (following 10 years of dawdling with the UN). This was no "rush to war."
5. FACT: once our troops were deployed on foreign soil, we could not tarry, so Saddam's last-minutel delaying tactics (just as the Taliban's) were ignored. It was too late; his time was up. Invasion began.
6. FACT: In spite of all this, Democrats are now pretending President Bush "lied" about the war, and that he "mislead" the world because he said that WMDs were the reason we were going to enforce the UN Security Council demands on Hussein. Well, in fact, they WERE the reason. After the 9/11 attacks, our prudent fears led us to stop S. Hussein's dallying with the world over his weapons programs and unaccounted stockpiles. His time was up. Only Saddam Hussein is responsible for this war. He could have prevented it at any time!
7. FACT: Bush, Blair, the Australians, the Polish, et al...were right to make a stand against world terror. We didn't invade Iraq because terrorists dropped our towers. We invaded because Saddam was shooting at our pilots and refusing to comply with UN requirements dating back to his invasion and pillage of Kuwait. The tyrant defied the civilized world.
8. FACT: The war in Iraq IS part of the War on Terror.
Did you notice that Ireland's IRA immediately forsook terror following Bush's proclaimed policy against terror in the world wherever found?
That statement wasn't lost on Khadaffi either.
What the Democrats are doing by their misrepresentations and outright lies is a disgrace to mankind. Worse, it's a threat to the security of the US. The enemies of western civilization take heart when Democrats tear down this administration for their own selfish, short-term political gain. It's unconsionable.
What is even more amazing is the number of Americans they have shammed.
If you are a Democrat and you want to know if you've been shamed... well, www.just.check your motivations. If you are voting for Kerry because you are voting against Bush....you've been had. The Dems don't expect you to vote for Kerry. They've offered you no real reasons to. He has no record to stand on. His whole "veteran" posture is contrived. this election is a no brainer...we have one party that is for "free enterprise" the other for "redistribution of the wealth" or Socialism...America became the leader of the world under the banner of free enterprise in the short space of 200 yrs. while the mighty powers of the 18th & 19th centuries floundered & died under liberal socialist principles & policies and even today their economies are wrought with 9% unemployment rates (in good times)... Amen to everything you said NC yank. I am a homeschool student. I was raised in home school and I am so glad My parents had the guts to do it. It's funny all the things that non-homeschoolers say when they just have no clue. Now I can talk smack about public school because I did go to two years of it and several classes in high school. I have seen both sides and the thing I see the most is the infernal brainwashing that happens in public school. telling kids everything from screwed up history, to demented ideas about money and jobs. demoralizing the nation, not teaching fundamental principals about money, encouraging kids to be mindless followers of whoever takes control. It makes me sick. We need less government and more personal responsibility. another thing the canidates like to say is that they will create jobs! that is not the governments responsibility! all the government could do is make it easier and cheaper for businesses to get started and have employees. Like that will happen.

Kerry and Bush are almost in a tie. So half the country is voting for Kerry and half is voting for Bush. Can 50% of the people you work with, live next to, share family with, etc be that very different from you? Republicans and democrats are not that different. We only have the two parties and platforms from which to choose so most people pick one and then start to listen and believe the rhetoric of the their politicians who must support and get you to support their party to survive. Do not fall into the trap of Democrats vs Republicans or liberals vs conservative. It is almost as intelligent as the a bunch of drunken frat boys trying to convince you that their team is the best and the other team is rotten and cheats. The conversation is the same on any college camput in the country. It is always their team that was robbed and the other team is the one who cheats. Could anything sound more stupid? Half the people you know wrap themselve under the term liberal or conservative. It is only a term and we only have two from which to choose. So get passionate about your beliefs, but do not fall into the trap of belittling and degrading the other half of the population. It is just a label and they are not so very differnent from you.

Except for your referral to God denying reprobates, you must be talking about George Bush & Friends. They certainly have been looting the treasury and redistributing the wealth to their friends, including Haliburton. And, they also prefer to kill their adversaries rather than outsmart them.
We are currently engaged in a war where President Bush states that John Kerry doesn't understand the enemy. If this happens we will no longer be able to use our printing press to buy the oil we need. As the dollar plunges against an increasing euro, you better tighten your seat belt. It's not going to be a pretty ride. Can you say, "Infation like you have never seen before.?" I certainly hope you enjoy the ride. In the end, Russia will have won the war without ever having to fire a shot.
Reading these posting, I am terrified for the future of America. I am amazed at the reasoning or lack thereof for chosing a party. If you only had one brain cell left it would be clear to see that :
1. Who is the liar. The reason's for going into Iraq was a lie, no weapons, Sadam was not found guilty for 911. However, there was oil and the quest for power.
2. The issue is not whether or not people support the troops, but most do not support the fact that they are dying everyday for no reason.
3. The question is not whether or not Iraq is better now. The reason for going there was not to save the people. If so who are we to try to clean up another man's backyard when we are dumping garbage in ours.
4. I do not vote Dem or Rep i vote for the person. In order for this country to be respected by the rest of the world we have to make a change. I spent the last 3mths in europe& Asia and the census

Why can't americans see this? Because we are a country of hype, we are controlled by the media, advertising, we will buy a rock for $1 million if it's in a nice package. Our children are brain washed to believe what is seen on TV and not to think for themselves. Go with the popular opinon because it not cool to be unpopular.
Who are we kidding do we really think we can win this war? We are fighting people whose existance is to fight the have been doing this for all their lives, with a believe that their god will honor them for this. They have no fear of dying, we are not raise like that, if the gov't believe so strongly in this why aren't their sons and daughters on the front line? We are sending these young kids to confront people who will blow themselves up with a smile do we have a plan to help them to readjust to a society who believe that killing is a crime?
Who cares is gays are married, who are they hurting?
Our children are failing in schools, the economy is crap, people are scared for their future financally, the homeless rate is raising, the budgets for police and fire stations are cut, oh homeland security is important is it. Let's start with potecting neighbourhoods. I could go on but this is just food for thought.
