Is anyone here investing in multi-units in York ,Pa. I am starting to look into that area. I am currently in the Baltimore metropolitan area now. How does York run its section 8 program? Is York a Landlord friendly city? Thanks a lot Phyllis

Im in Y ork. In the city, property values are pretty cheap ~$30,000-$40,000 for a 2 unit) because the taxes & sewer costs are sky high and rents are relatively low. In the city itself, there basically no properties that are 'nice'. Mostly older properties that are only maintained. Don't know about Section 8 prices other than outside the city for a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath house with basement, attic, fenced yard, they are only willing to pay $600.
