Hello all- I'm looking at purchasing a rental property that has one unit vacant, and wanted to know how to run a criminal backround and credit check on prospective tenants. Are there any web sites you recommend? Thanks! Ted

    Ted, most of the popular landlord sites have links for this service. Do a gogole search for landlord and you will find plenty of sites. Make sure you charge an application fee that recovers your cost to do the checks.

    I've heard good things about Factual Data. I plan to get set up with them once I have more rentals.
