What To Charge For Rent
i have a property in port richey florida and just leased it for six months at750. then i get a letter saying my house payment is going up so now my rent doesnt cover my cost. how can i figure out what rent is going for in the area? now i have to wait for 6 months to raise the rent but luckily it is only 50 increase on my payment. thanks for the help
Why is your payment going up? I'd question whether or not they can raise it that much.

1. You might try calling a couple of property management companies or real estate firms with a property management arm.
Tell them that you are looking for an annual rental in <your property's neighborhood> with xBR and xBA. Let them tell you what they have and what the rent is.
2. How about trying to read the classified ads in the local newspaper if you can get it online?
